Vientiane (LAO PDR), from May 2013, 16-17 – The 2nd meeting of Regional Joint Coordinating Committee for “the Project for the Capacity development for transition to the new CNS/ATM systems in Cambodia, Lao PDR and Vietnam” (RJCC/2) was held in the International Cooperation and Training Centre (ICTC). CAAV’s Deputy DG Dinh Viet Thang has been heading the Vietnamese delegation to attend the meeting.

 HANOI, 26 April - The 4th Meeting of Vietnam Joint Coordinating Committee for “The Project for the Capacity Development for Transition to the New CNS/ATM Systems in Cambodia, Lao PDR and Vietnam” was held at CAAV’s Headquarters. DDG Dinh Viet Thang and members of the CAAV’s CNS/ATM Steering Committee attended the meeting.

 HA NOI - A minimum of VND300 billion (US$14.4 million) is required to set up a commercial airline, following a recent Government decision.

 Ho Chi Minh City, April 22 2013 – VietJetAir today signed an agreement with AWAS, one of the world’s leading aircraft leasing companies, to lease three brand-new Sharklet-equipped A320 aircraft. The move will make VietJetAir the first airline in Vietnam to operate this new fuel-saving wing tip device on an aircraft.

 The new route will open on May 20, 2013 with one round trip per day. The flight will set off from Tan Son Nhat’s domestic terminal in Ho Chi Minh City at 6.30pm and arrive in the country’s “coffee capital” just 55 minutes later. The return flight will leave for Ho Chi Minh City at 7:50pm.

 Ho Chi Minh City, 8 April 2013 – VietJetAir has commenced sales for its second international route connecting Vietnam capital Hanoi to Bangkok. The new connection will open on June 1, 2013.
