  • JAL opens HCM City-Tokyo route

     HA NOI (VNS)— The Civil Aviation Authority of Viet Nam has allowed Japan Airlines (JAL) to start non-stop flights between Tokyo's Haneda International Airport and HCM City's Tan Son Nhat International Airport.

  • VietJet Launches Ho Chi Minh city – Da Lat Route

     Dalat, March 22nd, 2014 – VietJet officially launches new route Ho Chi Minh City – Dalat, connecting the bustling city - Ho Chi Minh and the city of thousands of flowers – Da Lat. This is the third route flying to Da Lat city apart from Vinh city and from Hanoi.

  • Can Tho ready for new air routes

     The Steering Committee for Southwestern region and the Ministry of Transport in coordination with the Can Tho City People’s Committee on March 17 hosted a conference to discuss ways of accelerating the opening of air routes to Can Tho.

  • Vietnam Airlines makes plans for September IPO

     HA NOI - The State-owned flag carrier plans to launch its initial public offering (IPO) in September, stated Deputy Minister of Transport Nguyen Hong Truong during the ministry's Q1 meeting. The long-haul IPO, which was initially scheduled to take place by the end of the second quarter, is being viewed as urgent, since industry competition is intensifying and private carriers are vying for Vietnam Airlines' passengers.

  • VietJet Launches new Route to Singapore

     Ho Chi Minh City, March 20, 2014 – VietJet will officially launch its new route from Ho Chi Minh City to Singapore from May 23rd, 2014 with daily flights. The flight from Tan Son Nhat international airport departs at 08:50am and on the other direction it departs at 12:40am (local time) to Ho Chi Minh City from Changi international airport.

  • NA committee to debate draft laws

     HA NOI (VNS) - The National Assembly Standing Committee is scheduled to hold its 25th session in Ha Noi from February 20 to 22 and will focus mainly on drafting laws.
